Both men come into this battle with a similar height, age and reach at 38 years of age. It looks to be a classic striker versus wrestler scenario where Herman will wish to keep it standing and prevent being ground out by Cummins. Historically Herman has had powerful takedown defense but against CB Dollaway he’d battle to return to his feet once fatigued. Cummins should keep competitions grounded as his standup isn’t effective, only made worse with his terrible striking defense. With his durability clearly declining it’s the power of Herman that provides an obvious path to victory. Cummins is a big favourite as the stylistic matchup is in his favour, however he is not reliable enough for the price tag. This will be a sloppy fight where either man can find victory. The value is different with the underdog.
