A pair of YouTube rivals who clashed at a boxing game that was sold-out signed up for a rematch at the USA and have turned pro.
KSI and Logan Paul shared a vast majority draw in a struggle at the Manchester Arena in August 2018 which reportedly drawn a TV crowd of 1 million before 15,000 fans.
They will meet again in the Staples Center in Los Angeles on 9 November.
US celebrity Paul and briton KSI boast about 20 million readers each.
Even the rematch – to be shown on streaming agency DAZN – will probably be presented by promoter Eddie Hearn, whose Matchroom Boxing outfit also reflects OP Talent, and former world winner Anthony Joshua.
Matchroom state the fighters turned pro after passing medicals last week and will come face to face at a media conference in LA September, with another from the UK to follow.
“Eventually, after over a year since the rematch, I have to put in the ring again to fight Logan Paul,” explained KSI. “If I am being honest, I did not fight well at all at the very first battle, and even thenI still managed to draw against him.
“I won’t make it so close, particularly now that it is a pro fight, no mind guards along with 10oz gloves”
Paul stated:”Last fight, KSI couldn’t conquer me with only three months of training under my belt. For the past year, while JJ was wasting his time attempting to become a rapper, I’ve been training each and every moment.”
The initial fight was clarified by promoters since the”largest live pay-per-view sports event in the history of the internet”.
Hearn admitted his perspective had changed after initially believing the notion of the group fighting in the Manchester Arena was”embarrassing”.
“What I watched was a happening; a sold-out stadium, more than one million PPV purchases but more importantly an energy of a new audience to the sport of boxing,” he explained,
He promised that a”world championship” undercard to the primary fight.
Britain’s WBO super-middleweight champion Billy Joe Saunders, who combined Matchroom, has been linked with emerging on the invoice.
