Anapurna could still run at Ascot this month.
Connections of the John filly will observe how she awakens after making all the running to bring another Group One to her success in the Investec Oaks.
We have got an entrance for Ascot so we are likely to see how shes out of the race then make a determination nearer the time, said Mark Weinfeld, of breeders Meon Valley Stud.
We aspire to run her but she had quite a hard race in France so we will have to observe the way she is.
That will probably be her last race. We dont plan to maintain her in training next year.
She will return into this paddocks here and begin her career as a broodmare.
It is too premature to say that stallion she would visit. We have obtained a shortlist but we havent made a decision yet.
Joining Anapurna in the paddocks will undoubtedly be her stablemate, TwistN Shake, who has been retired after a slight injury caused her to miss that out the Sun Chariot Stakes at Newmarket.
She had a slight setback on Thursday just before we were going to announce for the Sun Chariot so were likely to retire her now, explained Weinfeld.
She will be absolutely fine. It was something we werent happy with on her own tibia.
Luckily we picked up on it. She and three months box restll be fine. That is her career over.
She was really intelligent. She had been Group One set in Ascot.
Its very exciting for following year, playing the matings.
The daughter of Kingman was a Recorded winner at Deauville and has been runner-up in a Group Three on her final start in Addition to fourth in the Coronation Stakes at Royal Ascot.
