BIG MARLEY’S UFC FIGHT NIGHT 133 DRAFT KINGS FANTASY BREAKDOWN

This week, we have a 13-fight card in Boise, Idaho. It’s headlined by Junior Dos Santos vs Blagoy Ivanov, who will be making his UFC debut. DraftKings has smaller competitions with this card since it’s just a Fight Night card with lesser known name, but there’s still well over $100k to be won. I’ll be pursuing my fair share of the money and I hope you guys will be . Here are a couple plays I like this weekend and my fade of the week.
Cash Game play of the week — Alexander Volkanovski ($9,200)
I think Volkanovski is the”safest” drama on this card along with also his -300 betting line would agree with me. That’s where I’ll be starting my lineup this week and I’ll figure out the rest from there. Volkanovski averages 116.5 DK points through his first four UFC fights so he has a whole lot of upside too. He could possible score over two winners on this card combined. I do think he’s in play for GPPs too for this reason, but he will likely be the most peculiar owned fighter on the card and we don’t care about possession as much in money games. I would suggest paying for the expensive price tag on your cash games and then search for three or more others wins you’re confident in.
GPP play of this week — Junior Dos Santos ($8,700)
JDS ought to function as way better striker inside this struggle and I believe this is where the fight will occur. He can get KO’d at the opening minutes of this battle and score 0 points, but this is what makes him a GPP play instead of a money match play. With both of these Heavyweights, we should likely see a KO inside the 25-minues and I think the former winner, JDS, are the one to receive it. He has great takedown defense so he ought to be able to maintain this battle on the feet where he’ll have a 4-inch achieve advantage to work with.
Underdog drama of this week — Niko Price ($7,900)
Niko is going to be my underdog drama of this week. The chances indicate that the fight should be rather close and there is a great possibility that he uses his wrestling to obtain the benefit. In 5 fights he has not seen a decision yet, and there is a possibility it remains that way if he gets Brown to the ground. Niko has some slick entrances in his arsenal along with a lot of heart. On the toes, Brown likely has the advantage with his reach, but Cost does have any sneaky power too, which can’t be overlooked. All in all, I like this as a GPP play.
Fade of the week — Alejandro Perez ($9,100)
Perez is the 2nd most expensive fighter on this card and he is just $100 cheaper than Volkanovski. In my opinion, Perez will require a end to have a shot at paying off that expensive salary and that I don’t want to invest in that, personally. He has never landed more than 1 takedown at a fight and Wineland has exceptional takedown defense, therefore we must see this fight occur on the toes. I believe Perez needs to be the one to receive his hand raised in the end but I think that it will be via conclusion. If that’s the case then he can score ~60 points in a win, and at $9.1k that isn’t likely to win anyone a tournament. I will be full fading Perez this week and hoping he does not get the end and he is my official fade of the week.
