Kieffer Moore scored his first global goal but Wales missed the opportunity to seize control of Euro 2020 as they were held to a 1-1 draw in Slovakia qualifying Group E.
Ryan Giggs collection bet to hand his first start to Moore was vindicated inside 25 minutes in Trnava since the Wigan striker led Wales in front with his first goal for his country.
But Slovakia obtained their reward for a spirited second-half fightback as Juraj Kuckas sumptuous volley levelled the contest.
This was backs to the walls to Wales from there on, together with the hosts laying siege in their goal until Norbert Gyombers late dismissal for two bookable offences, but they procured a plausible point ahead of Sundays crunch clash with Croatia in Cardiff, live on Sky Sports.

Wales host World Cup runners-up Croatia at the Cardiff City Stadium in 7.45pm on Sunday, live on Sky Sports Football in 7.15pm. Slovakia entertain Paraguay in an international friendly at the same time in Bratislava.
