These two teams have not had the best starts to this season, but will play in an early summer matchup on Saturday.

Dallas was able to win the last 3 games against Washington heading back to last year. The Stars win this season came in the road from the Capitals and theyll look to earn their second win of the season as well against Washington. These two teams have been in eight of their last nine matchups against each other, which makes me expect another fantastic match on Saturday inside one goal of each other.
The Capitals have had a lot of power play opportunities to get their special teams moving so far this year. Washington has scored four power play goals. The Capitals penalty kill was doing well stopping opponents on twelve of the power play opportunities. Washington will seem to keep these numbers up .

As they look to receive their power play moving, the Stars will seem to alter some things. Both teams have set up a penalty kill that was solid the season, however, Washington has a slight edge as their power play has been working. Together with Alexander Ovechkin to the power play it is dangerous and Dallas will look to neutralize it.
Braden Holtby will probably get the nod in net within this game for the Capitals. Holtby has gone thus far this year to 1-1-2 in his starts. Hes made a save percentage of .868 along with a GAA of 3.67. Last season, Holtby travelled 32-19-5 with a .911 save percentage along with a 2.82 GAA. Holtby has been off to a terrific start, but I expect him to do it moving sooner rather than later.
Ben Bishop is expected to begin for Dallas on Saturday night. Bishop has really gone 1-2-1 this season. Hes posted a save percentage of .910 and a 2.48 GAA. As he ended with a record of 27-15-2, bishop was a Vezina Trophy finalist last year. In those games that he had a .934 save percentage and a GAA of 1.98 to help lead the Stars into the playoffs.
Neither goalie was off to the beginning, however, Bishop has put up the numbers so far this year. Bishop had the season , but Holtby is a strong netminder. I expect this challenging beginning to turn around. I believe because he looks to give the Capitals a win Holtby will look for some payback against the Stars.
The Stars were able to choose the season series between these two teams very first game, but I feel that Washington will bounce straight right back with a road win in their own. The Capitals are performing better than Dallas, although neither team was off to an ideal start. Washington teams may help give them an increase and it might really help the Capitals pull off the street upset if his groove can be found by Holtby.
