There is really three that I think have a breaking chance of completing within the six places on offer from the bookmakers. The main one from this trio will be DAZZLING DAN (greatest cost 12-1). The three-year-old narrowly beat out Oxted time at Newmarket, and has valuable experience running like the one at Doncaster in fields. He finished next to Pass The Vino in July, and that form has worked out.
I think MUSICKA (best price 40-1) can be slightly overlooked in this , especially with the number of location terms on offer. The five-year-old has set in some adequate screens this year, and ran fifth in this last year. He’s finished second to Dakota Lahore, Gold along with also Royal Prospect.
COPPER KNIGHT (best price 33-1) has been carrying to the big boys this season, and should have a chance against this field. He finished close despite finishing to Battaash in York. Can easily out run these odds.
DURSTON (best price 4-1) – Non Runner
SHINE SO BRIGHT (best cost 8-11) made a complete belter when beating Laurens in the City Of York, and to be fair there is nothing in this race at the same league as Laurens. Despite the penalty, if Shine can replicate that operate, he must win fairly comfortably.
LETHAL LUNCH (best price 13-2) didn’t get a rush when moving back to turf in Ascot. He looks to have a cracking possibility of scoring and comes back to the all-weather another triumph. He was last seen on this particular back in August, in which he beat Diocles of Rome. He is two on the all-weather, so I will be stunned to see him from the places.
Another one to keep an eye is ARBALET (best price 6-1), he may be winless this season but has confronted to some tricky jobs. He’s a good deal lower in the ratings and is being tried on the all-weather for the very first time. An interesting prospect.
THREAT (best cost 6-5) should love this step up in trip, and so for me personally is the one to beat. He returned at York, that has been his second career win in the Gimrack to winning ways. His two losses so far have come against Golden Horde and Arizona, therefore no humiliation there.
LOGICIAN (best price 11-10) has proven no reason why you need to oppose him in the final classic of the year. The son of Frankel is unbeaten, he won at York with simplicity and the additional few furlongs should not be a issue. There are question marks surrounding a few in this subject, however I believe Sir Ron Priestley might be worth a wager without the favourite.
