Southampton defender Wesley Hoedt has joined Belgian Pro League side Royal Antwerp to get a loan deal.
The loan arrangement also includes an choice to purchase at the end of the present campaign.
Hoedt combined Southampton from Lazio in August 2017 and made 32 appearances throughout his debut season with the club.
The 25-year-old made a 13 appearances last season but was deemed surplus to requirements from the joined Celta Vigo on loan for the remaining part of the effort.
