Wales manager Ryan Giggs claims the emergence of Daniel James can help alleviate the strain.
Wales take on Azerbaijan in Cardiff City Stadium in a critical Qualifier on Friday having lost their last two games of the effort from Croatia and Hungary
While Bale scored two for Real Madrid on Sunday Villarreal, james has scored three goals in four Premier League matches since his transfer to Manchester United out of Swansea the summertime.
Giggs is currently expecting James’ form can help take the load off Wales’ all-time record goalscorer heading.
“They’re both playing and are in good form, both are scoring. I think they are both looking forward to being involved in the game,” he said.
“Dan has got off to a wonderful beginning to his Manchester United career but he has been great for us in the past few matches – particularly during the summer under difficult conditions.
“It’s not just about Gareth. Clearly with everything the capabilities he has got have been performed, by Gareth, the strain and spotlight is always to him.
“I need to bring that pressure off ourselves, we can’t rely upon him every game. We have other art in the group.”
James, 21, is currently United’s leading scorer in the Premier League after his first four looks but Giggs insists he’s not surprised with the winger’s rapid development at Old Trafford under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
The former United players thinks the management at United can help James match his whole potential when helping him maintain his”feet to the the ground”.
“I haven’t been surprised since he had a good pre-season, once you sign for a new club that’s exactly what you need,” he continued.
“He has played nearly every game and if you score, or return on and score, that gives you a lift.
“It doesn’t matter when you’re in the world or what sort of ability you possess, confidence is all about, confidence builds. All of us know about what he’s capable of, what he’s done over the previous eight or nine weeks. He just gets better and better.
“He’s in the perfect club. Ole will look in the way that is perfect after him, he’ll know when to play with him. I am surprised. It is a club which loves wingers, they love players. I am happy he will not get taken away, he is that kind of character.
“He is really down to earth and he is at the right club in regards to keeping his feet to the floor .”
